Well, you may have noticed that I have been on a bit of a hiatus from the blog portion of this website. My family and I have been in the process of relocating from Sewanee, TN, back to our home “stomping grounds” in Lubbock, TX. Leann has started a wonderful journey as the chaplain for the Canterbury ministry with Texas Tech University, and I’ve been busy preparing for a bit of a shift as well because I will be teaching 7th and 8th Grade English and 8th Grade Comparative Religion for All Saints Episcopal School in Lubbock beginning this fall. While all of these developments have taken up most of my time and attention over the summer, there have been some reviews that have come out concerning my books.
Sociology of Mystic Practices was recently reviewed by the journal Reading Religion. You can read the review here.
Just Begin has been reviewed (along with several other books) in this article from Publishers Weekly. If you want to read only about my book, then you can skip to the end of the article (as one might suspect when one’s last name begins with “W”).
